July was pretty mellow.
We celebrated the 4th of July with a super fun neighborhood party and Mom
got to run away to Palm Springs with a bunch of friends for the
weekend...woo-hoo!!
Owen's big news is that
he started first grade this month! He is with the same group of friends and
really likes his new teacher. He says the work is easier than in
kindergarten. I'm guessing not for long!
Payton's July was
full of playing. She's out of school for the summer, so she gets to hang out
with Mom & Quinn. She and Quinn love to disappear into the playroom and make
up things to do. Payton does the making up and Quinn appeases her by
following along. It's a great system...for her!
Quinn is getting to
be a big boy. He's started being interested in the TV which is new. He likes
to watch Jack's Big Music Show and Signing Time. His attention span is a bit
short for either, but at least Mommy gets about 5-10 minutes of something
done before Quinn comes looking for her!
